is the 5th Highest mountain in the world
and this is near by the top of the world(Everest).
Sherpa Rai and Limbus are the main habitants
in this area. Walking north of the Arun
river to Sedua and Nun, then crossing
Barun La(4110m.)into the upper Barun
Khola valley for a close look at Makalu(8463m).The
second part of the trek is very difficult
and almo1st impossible without previous
experience.
Kanchanjunga,
8598m high peaks, which lies on the
Nepal/Sikkim border. Excellent views
of Everest, Makalu and Kanchanjnga massif
itself highlights photographic opportunities.
Trekking to this area leads to such
famous peaks of eastern Nepal as Kanchanjunga
and the mysterious Jannu via the enormous
Yalung Glacier. |
