Welcome to Bhutan and Sikkim

1. Bhutan – The Highlights

1. Fly to Paro.Evening cocktail and familiarization talk program.
2. Drive to Drungyel Dzong. Upon return visit a typical Bhutanese farm house and Paro Bazar. After lunch drive to Ta Dzong and a short walk to Paro Rimpung Dzong.
3. Short drive to Satsam Chorten followed by a two hour trek to Taktsang Tea House for a close –up view of the Monastery.
Lunch at the Tea House and return walk to Satsam Shorten for a drive to Thimpu.
4. Sightseeing tour to Memorial Chorten, the Handicraft Emporium. Tashicho Dzong and the National Library.
5. Three hours drive to Punakha across the Dochula pass. Light refreshments served at the Dochula Café on the way. After visitingPunacha drive to wangdi.Overnight at Wangdi Guest House.
6. Morning visit to typical farm house where traditional buttered tea with zaw can be tasted. Visit Wangdi Phodrang Dzong and drive over beautiful pe-le-la pass to Tongsa.
7. Visit the most impressive Dzong in Bhutan, Tongsa Dzong. Drive via Chumi Valley to have a close look at the daily life of local people.Arrive at Jakar and overnight at Guest House.
8. A full day to explore the Bhumthang Chokhor Valley,its Dzongs temples and monuments. Overnight at Guest House.
9. Visit Chume Tragar Naktsang and domkhar Tashicholing Palace before driving to Tongsa. Afternoon tour to Tongsa and Ta Dzong. Overnight at Guest house.
10. Morning drive to Thimpu enjoying the unique landscape of Bhutan.
11. A full day to enjoy the beautiful atmosphere of thimpu. Witness the mask dance and cultural performance of Royal Dance Group. Visit the local market and Handicraft centre. Late afternoon drive to Paro.
12. Departure from Paro.

2. Bhutan Cultural Tour

Fly to Paro. Evening cocktail and familiarization talk program.
Drive to Drungyel Dzong. Visit the National Museum and Ta Dzong. After lunch, 2- hour drive to Thimpu. On the way visit Simthokha Dzong. Built in 1629 by Shabdrung Ngawang Namgyal.
Sightseeing tour to Memorial Chorten, handicraft center and Tashichho Dzong.
Early morning drive to paro for departure.

1. Sikkim-North, East Excursion

1. Arrive in Kathmandu transfer to Hotel.
2-4 Sightseeing in kathmandu valley.
5. Fly to Bhadrapur and drive to Darjeelng. Transfer to Hotel.
6. Sightseeing in Darjeeling. Full day tour to Tiger Hill, Ghoom Monastery, Tea Estate.
7. Drive to Gangtok. All afternoon sightseeing and transfer to the Hotel.
8. Full day sightseeing in Gangtok.
9. Full day sightseeing in Gantok.
10. Drive to Lachung.
11. Drive to Yumthang and excursion.
12. Full day sightseeing in Yumthang.
13. Drive to Gangtok and visit Tsangu lake.
14. Drive back to Gangtok.
15. Drive to Kalimpong, afternoon sightseeing and transfer to the Hotel.
16. Drive to Bhadrapur and fly back to Kathmandu.
17. Free day in Kathmandu.

2. Sikkim Cultural Tour

1. Arrive in Kathmandu transfer to Hotel.
