Nepal Trekking Tour Program:- |
|
| |
| Everest Region:- |
|
| |
The Trek to Gokyo offers an alternative to the traditional trek to the Everest Base Camp. From Gokyo more of Everest is visible, though from a slightly greater distance, than from either Kala Pattar. The mountains are even more spectacular in the Gokyo valley, and four 8000m peaks - Cho Oyu, Everest, Lhotse and Makalu are visible an one time. The view of the tremendous ice ridge between Cho-Oyu and Gyachung Kang (7622m) is one of the most dramatic panoramas in the Khumbu. There are many options for additional exploration and high altitude walking include the crossing of the Cho-La Pass, at 5420m one of the high pass in Solukhumbu. We can also combine the Gokyo trek with visits to Base Camp or Kala Pattar for a closer view of the great mountain's features. |
